steirischer herbst is celebrating its fiftieth edition in 2017. Therefore, in addition to the festival programme, there will be a number of projects created especially for this year’s anniversary instalment that explore the diverse history of the festival. Productions and activities associated with the anniversary will be flagged by a logo designed by Horst Gerhard Haberl – former herbst Director, Rector of the Hochschule der Bildenden Künste Saarbrücken (HBKsaar) and originator of the legendary Franz advertising for Humanic – for the festival.
