The opening night of steirischer herbst does not end with the final applause for “to come (extended)” but with the last notes of the subsequent opening concert.
As soon as the final applause for Mette Ingvartsen's “to come (extended)” has faded away, the opening of steirischer herbst 2017 enters its second stage with the annual opening concert. Responsible for the party's soundscape are musicians Jakobus Siebels and Mense Reents. Under the moniker Die Vögel, the duo from the German city of Hamburg produces experimental electronic brass music. Together with the audience, the two will embark on a sensual journey, which promeses to be as varied as it will be entertaining. So come, dance and party with us!
