The echoes from five decades of musikprotokoll are part of the anniversary exhibition at GrazMuseum.
Since 1968, musikprotokoll at the steirischer herbst festival has been dedicated to contemporary music in its many different varieties. More than 2,000 premieres in fifty editions of the festival – that means any number of stories, experiments, successes and personalities. Accordingly, the echoes from five decades in the anniversary exhibition „Diese Wildnis hat Kultur” at the GrazMuseum consist of many different voices: acoustic reflections from fifty iterations of the festival and fifty years of radio, objets trouvés to hear, see and read.
